If the mats are not that bad & you're able to work it out, try corn starch. Put it directly on the hair, doesn't matter how much you put on, it won't damage the hair. Rub it in real good, work it w/your fingers & w/a comb or slicker brush, work out the mat. Always hold the hair closest to the skin to avoid damaging the skin & becareful w/the slicker brush. |
Cornstarch is what I use also. It works great, better than any mat removal products I've tried, it's cheap and no chemicals.
