ugh, I have the same problem right now. My baby just turned 8 weeks on the 17th, have had her since 5 weeks, and she is attached to my hip. Even if I have to go to the bathroom, she has to be RIGHT there. If I leave her sight, she starts to howl and cry. Even if it is just to throw something away or turn a light on or something, if I am not on the couch with her, she starts to whine.

The nights are really bad right now. She wakes me up on average around 6 times a night. She starts howling and will keep at it for quite a while. I dont know if she has to go potty, so I normally get up and take her out, but most of the time, she just stands by my leg and begs to be picked up. I am exhausted!! Hopefully she learns soon that it is okay to be away from me for just a sec.

A breeder let you take your little one at 5 weeks?
