I agree...there could be something going on there, something he picked up, esp. since he goes to daycare. He may not scratch at daycare bc he's having fun and/or is nice and distracted by all the activity.
He also could be having seasonal/enviro allergies...doubt it's food related.
Does he wear clothes and stuff? Any new clothes or harnesses that you forgot to wash or anything weird like that? Sometimes new clothes come w/ chemicals on them. Just a thought...
