Toby does the oddest thing. In my hometown there is a Petsmart and Home Depot in close proximity to one another.Sometimes I go to both places on one trip and frequently take Toby. Of course he is allowed in Petsmart and Home Depot does'nt mind as long as I keep him in the shopping cart which I do anyway. He loves to ride in the cart placing his paws on the edge so he can look out.When we are at Petsmart he will allow anyone in the store to come over and pet him and is the sweetest boy in the world.However, when we are in Home Depot he barks and raises cain at ANYONE that even attempts to come over to us.I can only guess that he is more comfortable in Petsmart because to him the whole place probablly smeels like one giant dog.
