What I wanna know is.. why do you care if people think you are 'gay' because you own a yorkie? Is there a problem with that stereotype? I mean, if a guy came to you because of your dog and asked you out, are you incapable of setting that record straight by saying no? lol
Sorry if this seems blunt or forward and I really don't mean any offense, I just don't really understand what the problem is. I just hope that the dog isn't literally "fighting" with your other dog, and is just playing with it. Because if they are fighting that is a bad sign and should probably give the dog to the alternative home.
Or if you are that worried about your image to other people because you own a yorkie (not to mention you can always say it's you're gf/wifes dog if it bothers you THAT much) then maybe you should rehome the dog to that alternative home and work on not caring what other people think of you. Because the issue is with the dog and not you, i.e. whether the dog is in a loving home that will love and care for it. If you provide that then that is all that matters, not someone thinking you are gay lol. |
