I'm not losing hope. Since I put the signs on the main streets we have gotten calls. One lady called about an hr ago and told me she saw a small yorkie in her yard on Monday that has no fence. She totally assumed it was her neighbors yorkie so did not get it
We got in our car and drove there and walked all those blocks calling out his name but didnt find him.That's what breaks my heart more and more.We also went to that neighbor with the yorkie and nothing.
The man and his kids that have yorkies do not live very close by and we dont know them. We just gave him a flyer and he said he understands what we are going through because they have 3 yorkies and they are like kids.
I want to scream sometimes this is just chipping away at me. My brother just asked me if I had gotten my turkey yet.Normally I plan everything way in advance. Right now I'm not thinking about Thanksgiving or the holidays coming up. We had plans to go to Miami for Thanksgiving but we have decided that we need to be home in case he's not home yet.
I have been well aware of the thought that a hawk ,owl or other bird may have snatched him. I vividly seen in my mind him screaming in pain.But I can't allow myself to accept that maybe thats what happened. If I never see his body then there is no closure for me and I will continue to look.
We have about 30 flyers left so I'm being careful where I leave them at.
