The reason your post could have been misconstrued was because when you said "

They don't get to enjoy them like we do Must be a dull life filled with hate and snottyness!" you were referring to the fact that the woman thought you were gross for sharing water with your dog. Since many people seem to share that same sentiment, it came across as if your above quoted statement applied to ALL people who didn't share with their dogs. You never clarified that it was because she was
rude that you thought her life was boring. It was easily taken the wrong way because it doesn't really make sense. I understood you the first time but it is easy to see how some others could have been confused. Not everyone feels as comfortable with their dogs but that doesn't make them any lesser of a person.
