I am not in rescue but I can only imagine the excuses rescue people
here when some a$$ turns their pet in for a stupid selfish reason.
Unfortuantely it's better for the pet to be loved by a stranger than
not have love at all, I guess.
People turn kids in as well like they were trash with no feelings.
I remember one family who had a child since birth and when he turned
18 didn't want him anylonger and stated he was hard to handle.
They wanted a baby again! The real reason was they stopped getting
money from our agency when the child turned 18! Who were they kidding.
Very sad and heartbreaking. I guess these stories will allways be in
our society because so many people have no concience
