Teacups are not a breed of any dog....it is simply a slogan. Smaller yorkies can be healthy same as larger yorkies can be ill. The size doesn't for sure mean either way. Smaller yorkies are more delicate and you have to be MUCH more careful.
If you worried you can always find a breeder that is willing to test their babies before sending them off or checking their contract to see what and how they would cover it if something was to come up. If they continue to breed smaller and smaller and smaller that can create a problem too.
