Well I might have suggested to my friend to ask the breeder if she could pick up the pup after the New Year - as I wanted to spend time with the pup without the distractions and busyness of Xmas. Then she could see what the breeder said in reply. When I picked up Razzle from my breeder on Dec 30th he was 11 wks old and she made sure we were going to be home for a few days and had time to introduce him to our other animals and see that he felt at home in his new surroundings.
My point is giving some room for the breeder to respond in the appropriate way.
