When I first got Laci , she was already peepad/newpaper trained. She did very well hardly having an accident... I had to train her indoors because we had almost 2 feet of snow and she was 2 and ahalf pounds...then I got my rugs cleaned by a company that used amonia, she thought my house was a litter box and started to pee on the rugs
, then I started to outside train her... It was pretty easy but Ill have to say you have to be home ALL THE TIME. I took her outside every single hour.. while she was peeing I said hurry hurry. then GOOD GIRL woo hooo yippeee... and had a cookie right on hand. ( kept them in the jacket I wear outside... now she pretty much goes on command... just say HURRY HURRY ( someone on YT told me this was better then say go pee pee or poo poo) because just incase you are somewhere and you dont want people around to know what your dog is doing
, but I will say I get up at 530 am every day, right out the door we go.. then I take her out several times a day.... she doesnt have accidents in the house but Im not so sure she tells me she has to potty , she doesnt bark or scratch the door, I just sort of know
,. I purchased the potty patch, which has grass like features because we get slammed with snow here often times 2 feet at a time , I had to buy this incase of an emergency!!
