I've heard of Royal Canin being the cause of a lot of pooping issues and tummy issues. Not for every dog, but they're all different.
Jackson eats Nature's Variety Instinct and generally speaking has 2 nice firm poopies a day!
He poops in the morning
and the evening. When I mix in wet food for him, sometimes he will go 3x though.
