My Yorkie recently had lab work done and the vet said she had a collapsed larnyx otherwise he said she is perfectly healthy, maybe a little overweight. She sounds like she has pneumonia. Since her testing in August she has gotten much worse to the point of, it hurts to see her breathe like this. When she gets excited she acts like she is having an asthma attack, if I rub her neck and talk to her she settles down. There are times she breathes normal, usually when she is really relaxed or in a deep sleep. The sad part is I have no income to help her, so you cry alot knowing things aren't getting any better. I just don't know how far to let her go before taking her out of her pain. I have been trying to find online what specific symptoms to look for to see if she is suffering, does anyone know?
