I understand the way he feels, and want to make this transition as easy as possible for both of them, he is used to being the only one, and she is used to being with mom and siblings, always playing and cuddling, no harsh tones, no barking, don't want her to feel rejected or traumatized.
I never thought about the bed...it is going to be hard, she is not used to being in a crate, always in an ex pen.DH almost cry last night when I put her in the crate, he is not to fun of "cages"like he calls them.
