I think that if it's not a big deal then you should just reorder the magnets. It's a first impression of you and your husband and I know you want them to think you pay attention to detail. You can put white labels or stickers on the magnets that say 2009 and donate them to a school. Maybe you can put one letter of the alphabet on each label. Kids would love to make words with them. Or...just put a white label on them and donate them to a school and let the little ones decorate their own magnet to hang up their work from school. Just some ideas.
