Have you talked to anyone who's had this surgery before, it sounds pretty major to me. I'm surprised you feel as well as you do, and I hope you don't overdo it. I've heard zinc lozenges can help the throat heal faster; it has to be the kind you can suck on, not a pill. I'm so glad you are doing OK, but these things take time!
