Okay .... you may want to read this because I had to go through the same scenario with my two guys
I have two brothers ... Zach and Mike
whenever you have two dogs there is going to be an alpha and a beta
Always ....
if you buck that system you're going to have fights
It sounds like one is def the alpha so when you feed them the alpha gets fed first
the alpha gets collared to go out first
BUT
you need to make sure the beta of the two doesn't get pushed aside
always pet the second too
always praise the second too
it's just an order thing
My Zach is the type of dog that sucks all the air out of the room
and my Mike is like the tag along little brother
I do have to monitor their play ... and make sure Mike gets to grab a ball
or have a squeaky toy
his brother takes everything away from him
