Do you know if the vet checked her stool for coccidia? Was your girl every treated for coccidia as a pup? Often the stress of having pups will cause a new momma to have a outbreak of coccidia if she is carrier, she can then pass it to her new pups but they would not have an outbreak until they are two weeks or older. Most pups that get coccidia do not have outbreaks until the weaning period starts or until they go to new homes because stress causes the coccidia to release itself. Hopefully this is not the case with your girl. Just stress alone can cause them to get diarrhea and also any major changes in the diet.

One product I always keep on hand diarrhea is a product I get from Revival called Diarsanyl. It seem to work very well.

Anyway, I am certainly glad your momma is doing better.
