This will not help you now but about two weeks before I was to get Tristan I bought him a bed and took it to him and left it there so it would be his constant once he got here. I worked wonders even when it was time to go to bed he already was use to sleeping on it and it smelt like his mother and sisters. Never once did he whine to get out of his crate. I do agree with everyone here he will love you just the same and now when we go see his breeder on regular occasions it takes him a while to warm up to her again.
