I agree, but I just got off the phone with a family with children ages 10 and 5, they saw a beautiful terrier boy puppy at a local shelter and they went to adopt and they were denied

, on the phone the mom sounded like a nice lady, she is a homeschool stay at home mom, they have a house with a fence yard, what else do they want? I agreed to meet with them later this afternoon at a local restaurant, they also went to the shelter my son volunteers at but they had nothing small to offer them. so my son told them about me.
I wish this groups would consider this in a case to case basis and not just reject a potential good home based on the age of children.
Most of us breeders have children and they were or are young.. so what happend to interview and educate? Please explain to me why this groups just denied this people based on the age of their children.
just my .02 today..
