I would not worry about this at all.

I got Couver when he was almost 5-months old, and he was completely attached to his previous owner. He did not even want to come visit me when I first met him. He wanted nothing to do with anyone but his 'mom' at that point.

He is now that way with me and my DH. He is completely and totally bonded with us, and I did not have him at 11 weeks.

Stop worrying, and get excited to bring your baby home!!
