When I got Kona from a family that didn't want her anymore I was beside myself with anxiety. I was so worried I had done the wrong thing. She is the first dog I have ever had. My DH kept saying he didn't want a dog so that didn't help matters. I was to the point that for the first week I wasn't eating and I couldn't sleep. I would break out crying all the time. It was almost to the point that I thought I would have to find another home for her. But then I found YT! I read up on everything I could before I was brave enough to join. She has now been with us for over 2 1/2 months and we couldn't be happier! DH really loves her now. Right now she is at my parent's house (350 miles away) while my DH and I get ready to go to Hawaii for Thanksgiving. We MISS HER so much, both of us keep comenting that it is just too quiet around here without her.
