This is a very heated topic among prey model raw feeders! I haven't done enough scientific research myself but from my interactions with other raw feeders, I've decided that dogs are carnivores and NOT omnivores. There are instances of raw feeders giving their dogs whole prey and the dog shakes out the contents of the stomach before eating. I still give mine some fresh fruits and vegetables as a snack but I don't think it's nutritionally necessary. BUT keep in mind this is my own personal opinion with no substantial evidence to back it up.
