the morning that i adopted my maddie she was givin her rabies shot at a vets office in the town i got her at. by that evening her muzzle was red and puffy and she to had red spots on her tummy and just didnt seem to feel very good. I took her to my vet and she said she was having a reaction to the shot. a few hours after recieving the steriod shot maddie was feeling better and swelling and spots gone. my vet said she will need a small does of steriod everytime she recieves the rabies. you definatley need a vet that will listen to you and your concerns. im very lucky to have a vet that treats my pets as if they were her own, and never dismiss's my concerns.
