I need your opinions! I am currently writing a research paper explaining the benefits of a raw diet, what/how to feed, and I am also dispelling some of the common myths.
One of my sources is this website:
The Many Myths of Raw Feeding.
On this site, they state that wolves are carnivores that
do not eat the stomach contents of their prey. Originally, I believed this to be true because the evidence they provide appears to be sound. I also felt that this is a pretty good source, so I started to incorporate this aspect into my paper. However, I am using a couple of canine nutrition books as sources as well, and both of them believe that wolves
do eat the stomach contents of their prey. If this was true, then we could assume that wolves and dogs are omnivores that require fruits and vegetables in their diet. So now I am confused.
What do you guys think?
I know this is a bit of a weird topic, but I am hoping to get some opinions. Let me know if this is the wrong place to put this thread, and I can move it if necessary.
thank you
