Increased meals for mom.
Calcium supplements
Keep Oral Cal Plus on hand for emergencies (eclampsia)
Supplement puppies to help mom out - bottle feed
Puppies can begin to lap from a dish at 3 weeks of age.....Supplement with Goats Milk = parts of distilled water....a bit of Karo.
Keep NutriDrops on hand......administer to mom and pups.
Help mom out with diapering
Continous monitoring of mom's nipples, making sure they are kept clean......
Monitor weight gain of pups on a daily basis, to make sure no one pup is getting pushed off.
Keep mom and pups in a quiet location.....not to stress mom, stress can cause her to stop producing milk.
1 scrammbled egg a day for mom and sunshine
