It may be a North/South thing, but I noticed you put "on line" several times, but I say that I am standing "in line". I've always heard it both ways, but now I'm starting to think that "on line" is the right way to say it. What is the difference?
I think she's talking about shopping "on line". Computer. In line is still the word when waiting to pay for something when you have people ahead of you.
