Default table makes thing so much easier

As for a table, I just bought this grooming table with he arm. The price wasn't too bad...around $75. I just started grooming my yorkies myself and I don't think I would have done as well without having something to help restrain them. My breeder actually recommended this table to me.

As for the mini-clippers, I agree with the previous poster in regard to them being easier to work with for the pads and sanitary area.

As for regular clippers, I bought these:

These were also recommended to me by my breeder as a great starter set. They are only $64 and so far so good They come with three different blade sizes and some safeguard combs.

I'm actually in the process of looking for a good pair of curved shears. I posted about those recently. If your interested in the answers there search for that post. I'll be buying them because I think their easier for area's that you want rounded but I also agree that they are not a necessity.

I'm also looking to add a pair of blunt nose shears to my collection. My adult yorkie is very squiriming when trying to trim the area around her nose and I think those would be safer.
