I suppose you might call me a dimwit, but I just want to know how one can look at the avatars on this site and know for a fact that a huge percentage of them are silkies.

I can tell in an instant the difference in a well bred silkie and a well bred yorkie; but, with mixes, I believe there is no easy way to be sure......unless it is just the dimwit in me.
