when she is peeing outside or pooping are you giving her a wonderful treat ???
I had the " million dollar " treat only used for potty training, as soon as she went I said good girl !! When we went outside I would say HURRY HURRY... as she was peeing all excited now at 11 months when I say hurry hurry she will pretty much go on command.. I took her outside every single hour during the day, GAVE HER THE BEST TREAT, till she got the hang of it, pee get a awesome treat , lots and lots of YIPPIE, WOOO HOOOO , GOOOD GIRL, NOW YOU GET A COOKIE...it worked like a charm.... it sounds to me that she is not sure what you want her to do outside... Make sure after you take her in and after the million dollar treat she gets a special playtime... pretty soon she will realize... wooow pee out here , get great awesome treat..( boiled chix, or cherrios or what ever she LOVES) and then a great play session before going in her crate and she will get the hang off it...also try attaching a expen to her crate with a pad , toys and I bet she wont go where she is sleeping...I used to get up at midnight and then at 3 am for the first couple weeks, so she knew go outside !
