Both of my dogs love to cuddle. They always want to be around me. My dogs also stay in my room and lay where I sleep in my bed when I am gone. I think my scent comforts them when I am gone. I think a dog's personality is shaped by nature and nurture. My dogs are affectionate. I always encourage my dogs to cuddle by giving them treats and rubbing their tummies when they lie in my lap. When my dogs were puppies, I trained them to sit by my feet to help me potty train them and to keep them safe from harm. I think I encourage my dogs to display those affectionate behaviors.
