 Chihuahua eaten by snake
JoJo's groomer told me a really sad story. Her mother (who lives in FL) had her Chihuahua eaten alive by a snake. She let it out to go potty and a few minutes later came back out to see half of his body already swallowed by the snake. I can't get this image out of my head...I can't imagine what her mother is going through for having witnessed that.
I don't know anything about snakes so I asked my groomer if her mom tried pulling her dog out, and she said she was too scared to approach it. And she said besides, once a snake begins eating its victim, it has already suffocated it. Is this true? I posted this because Yorkies are about the same size as Chihuahuas, and although snakes aren't prevalent where I live, I want to be as prepared as possible for any possible situation that may harm my little guy.
Is there anything her mom could have done? What would you have done? |
