I don't make the whelping pudding until she is in labor,
I have the nutri drops to give her if needed,so when she starts nesting I leave hubby or anyone home with her and run to the kitchen and mix the pudding and put it in the fridge, by the time whelping comes is ready to give to her. I usually discard anything left by the 4th day.
