There are tons of houses in my neighborhood who have their house totally decorated with lights and everything for Christmas weeks before Thanksgiving. We don't have any sort of contests going on around here, so not sure why?? That's too early in my opinion. I thnk it would feel funny to go to a person's house on Thanksgiving that is all decorated with lights and a blow up Santa outside when you're eating Thanksgiving turkey and watching football games.
