I liken my emotions as something similar to when I witnessed my daughter giving birth to my grandson.......I watched her and felt totally helpless as each contraction ripped through her body......I feel the same way with my girls.....I rub their backs sooth their bellies, whisper to them in attempts to calm them down and yet I'm helpless until I see that pup making it's way into the world.
