check out what lysiane_souris says as well. Could be the glands, although Hot Rod never licked his but each dog is different. Could be fleas as well. Unfortunately, the only way to pinpoint this is to take one ingredient/source and test trial it. Long and tedious but the best way to figure it out. Good luck.
