I would be a bit annoyed to receive that type of email from a YTer as well, however, after meeting MissPinkBarbie at the 2009 Meetup in Alexandria, I found her to be very nice. Perhaps you could reply to her email her and ask her how she got your email address and explain to her that you don't want to receive this type of email. Or, you could simply block the address as someone else mentioned.
There are many organizations that collect email addresses -- many companies that offer online payment compile email addresses and either sell the lists or make the email addresses available to other companies. If you are on myspace, facebook, or a like social club, perhaps she got your email from someone who knows you. |
