I cut the hair "all the way" down from the tip to the base on poor Rily because I didn't know how far to go but it worked...in 2 days his ears were up and running and have stayed that way. I did this when he was about 12-14 weeks old. My DH was soooo mad at me, he said it looks gross, but he was very pleased when Rily's ear went up so fast afterwards . Now I only shaved the tips of Saydee's last night. They looked a little higher this morning, but like I said, I don't care if they stay half floppy...it gives her character. When she gets the zoomies....those ears are straight back!
