We got Kona in September when she was just over 7 years old. She spent a lot of time in her crate (by her own choice) the first day or two she was at our house. It took her a little while to "come around" to us, but now I think she really likes us. She follows me around everywhere now. We also changed her name. When she came to us her name was Sweet Pea. We wanted to name her Kona. We just combined the names for a few days then dropped the Sweat Pea altogether. You will be just fine with her! They learn to love their people real fast. |
