Hi my name is Nicole my dogs name is Bailey...he is our first Yorkie we have two pitbulls at home and we have never had a small dog. I have an important question about their ears...
We just got Bailey, a 6wk old yorkie and a few days after we got him I received an email about rose petaling the ears. I would like to know what exactly this is. I was told the dogs will have chronic ear infections if the ears are not rose petaled. I was just at the vet with him last night and forgot to ask & now my vet is on vacation. So any help would be greatly appreciated!!! I just want to do what is best for him. We have two pitbulls and never had their ears cropped b/c we didn't want to put them through unecessary pain, from my understanding this is not the same...there is no cutting. But I am worrried about the chronic ear infections....PLEASE HELP!!
