mine do to, I have tried everything. I thought maybe it was becoming a habbit. I got fed up with the scratching sounds at night. I went to wal-mart and bought them both a babies onesie in the baby department, my pups are 11 pounds and I bought the 6mos size (fit perfect. ) I put it on them cut a hole for the tail, and they don't scratch while they are on! go figure. We all get a good night sleep now.
