My Luna is just over 5 months and has the worst coat. It was very dry, brittle, almost wiry and did not lay nicely. Well the vet shaved her neck to draw blood a week ago and hte hair growing in there is super soft. So I wondered if she just has pretty much ruined her coat doing puppy things like rolling in the grass etc? I took maybe an inch off her body hair and it now lays nice, is soft and has the silky feel. I haven't yet figured out how to get her to hold still for the legs lol but they need to be done. The difference is amazing.
