My sister is a nurse and two months ago she had to counsel a woman about her 7 year old son who was there for a routine surgery to get his Tonsils and Adenoids removed. The other nurse had given him the wrong IV bag and he ended up going into a coma. The mother wanted to know when she would be able to give him his birthday presents; the poor mother couldn't understand that he wouldn't be waking back up. It was supposed to be such an "easy" surgery. Sorry to get so off subject but I believe every surgery has risks.
Yes, we definitely agree and that is so sad about the little boy in the coma.

Good luck to you and your son...I was a nervous wreck when my son had tubes put in his ears at 4!! I almost had an anxiety attack in the waiting room!
