I am so sorry to hear your baby might have a shunt, They are just too common in Yorkies. Bile acids tests are very easy and inexpensive, around $75 or less depending on where you live.

What do you feed her? Animal proteins are toxic to dogs with liver shunts. Fish is much easier for their liver to handle. You might want to try a low protein food short term like Solid Gold Holistic Blend to see if her symptoms improve while you are waiting to take her to the vet. I think Petco carries it.
