As all Yorkies are not created equal, I believe all yorkie stories are not created equal.
As someone posted CT only has a 15 day Lemon Law on pups. IF the person went right to her vet and the vet deemed him unsalable, then she should be able to recoup some money on his bills. The fact Puppy Love has this policy up to $500, may also be an option too. I think the OP may want to research a little and also contact Puppy Love regarding the issue to see if it can be resolved amicably. I would personally, with anyone put everything in writing and send it registered mail. This is always best to do - to keep a paper trail. I won't comment on Puppy Love in itself as I've never dealt with them, and do not know them. My post above was to pet stores in general.
