marc, I only want to add one thing since you are new at this. make sure when you are aspirating the pup that you squeeze the bulb BEFORE you put it in the throat or nose. When you release that, that is the time the phelgm is removed. i know this sounds simple but I got so nervouse my first litter i blew all the air into the first pup's nose before i thought and I am an old retired nurse. Just got nervous. LOL |
