Just my opinion and you know yourself better than any one, but I think you will really regret it if you rehome her. To me, I just would miss my baby so much after having her for a year. I think it would be well worth it to try to bring her with you. Yes, it is a hassle.. and I understand she has to be quarentined for some time before being allowed into Hawaii, but the inconvienience will pay for the pleasure 10 fold when you have your baby with you. Of course, like I said, no one will beat you up if you do decide to rehome her. You are doing the right thing by asking around first so you do not have to make a hurried decision.

PS.. the travelling across the ocean and going to a new place is just a day or two of her life.. The being with you is what is important to her.
