i take my dog out and go for a very quick potty walk around the block and when i bring them in i turn on the heating element in the dog bed for about 15 min and then i turn it off it warms them up and they are fine after that i keep the house at 68 so the shock is not to bad from the outside in and vice versa when i carry them in bags i use rice warmers and they love that mine stay pretty warm
