If she is not out for extended periods of time she should be okay. If you are comfortable in the cabin she should probably be okay, too.
If you are concerned and don't want to spend a lot of money get a pair of those stretchy "one size fits all" gloves and cut the fingers off for socks. Just whip stitch around the top of the fingers so they don't ravel and they should work well in a pinch. They may not stay on long, but hopefully long enough for what you need. You could tie a little ribbon around them to keep them on better if needed, just don't get it too tight.
For sleeping I would get a sleeping bag type blanket to keep her warm and maybe some jammies.
