Mija was 10 months and barely 2lbs when I got her spayed and had her teeth pulled. My vet had also let her eat early in the morning so she would not be hypoglycemic. The surgery went perfectly with no complications. The first day back home she slept most of the day and she was pretty quiet. But the next day she was back to normal. She kept wanting to play and she had more energy than before! We didn't even need to get a cone. She never even tried to do anything to her stitches. As for her teeth, I had gotten her some canned food but she didn't even touch it. She ate her normal food like if nothing had happened! I was really nervous to get her spayed, but my vet reassured me alot before the procedure and i'm really glad I had it done.....Hope I helped
